Crispin Glover and FALSE ADVERTISING!

Avondale Episode 6, Part B

THIS PHOTO IS FALSE ADVERTISING AND SHOULD BE AN OUTRAGE TO
CRISPIN HELLION GLOVER!

Mr. Glover does not appear in any of our Western General Facilities productions, and yet, by posting this photograph here, it appears as if WGF is implying that Mr. Glover acts in Avondale Episode 6, Part B. The truth of the matter is that I really do enjoy Mr. Glover and he was generous enough to pose with with me in this particular photograph several years ago. This photograph was taken on the set of a shoot for a magazine, the title of which I cannot remember (could it be "Rolling Stone" because that sounds important). This amazing set which features realistic-looking stalactites and stalagmites was created by one of the most talented set designers, David Brothers, for the aforementioned photo shoot in 2005. I believe it was my dear friend, Elaine Glick, who snapped this shot of Mr. Glover, Mrs. Robin Ballard, Henry Ashdown, and Madeleine Ballard.

THERE ARE ACTUALLY 3 AREAS WHERE THIS PHOTOGRAPH DOES POSSESS TRUE RELEVANCE TO THE SUBJECT VIDEO OF THIS POSTING:
#1. Henry Ashdown appears in Avondale Episode 6, Part B as Max Deverose.
#2. In this photo, Henry slumbers, perhaps dreaming. This particular episode of Avondale shows what happens to the citizens of Avondale on a special night whilst they slumber.
#3. Crispin Glover has been described as p
laying "exceedingly eccentric types" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crispin_Glover). I need not explain further, for the avid Avondale fans will understand this particular connection.

We here at Western General Facilities hope you enjoy this exciting and thought provoking episode of AVONDALE. As always, we deeply appreciate your sharing our productions with those you know and leaving a comment on the YouTube. Comments help us feel more special about our work, and that's important to everyone, isn't it?

AVONDALE
AVONDALE is a quirky, character driven soap opera which follows a certain Mrs. Deborah Deverose, the pillar of the Avondale community. The lovely Mrs. Deverose is supported by an ensemble cast who play various different characters in the series; the bon vivants enjoying their perch from the upper echelon of society, ordinary folks referred to as “the Help,” in addition to some problematic and intriguing strangers. Although Mrs. Deverose’s life seems idyllic, she is deeply troubled. Improbable allies are made and shady characters introduce unexpected complication within the story. The mundane is woven together with the paranormal, keeping the viewer transfixed on what will happen next. What initially appears to be an enchanting story about a socialite, exposes how human behavior affects the transparent “glue” that keeps society intact.

The “low-tech” style of the camera work and voice over-dubbing create an odd other-worldliness, yet this place called Avondale seems so familiar and safe. This nostalgic quality combined with original sets and costumes evoke the wistfulness of an undefined moment in the past, reminiscent of the feeling of old soap operas and other television shows from bygone years.

Our goal is to create a professional and faster paced AVONDALE pilot episode with the intention of airing the series on television. We are currently looking for a producer and those who wish to invest in this project.

The following videos are examples of the experimentation and work that has led to our current vision of the AVONDALE series. These videos also provide the viewer with the general gist of Western General Facilities' production.
